For enhanced security, on the upper side of the reverse are two latent Chinese phrases meaning “the country is prosperous and at peace” and “the people live in safety and happiness” overlapping to form the shape of a Ruyi. The face value "10 Yuan” in Chinese is inscribed with two latent images "Taiwan" and “plum blossom" inside the Arabic numeral 0.
