Description:
The Uncut Commemorative NT$100 Banknote Sheets in Souvenir Folders were issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China. The set contains three uncut NT$100 banknotes with sequential serial numbers. The folder portrays Dr. Sun Yat-sen and a flag-raising ceremony on the New Year’s Day. There are also images showing Taiwan evolving from an agricultural country to an industrial one: a farmer working in a field, a train, a high-speed train, and a satellite and an antenna. In addition, there are also images of the Sun Moon Lake, the Taroko Gorge, and the Taipei 101 skyscraper. Together, they mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the country.
